Ham Radio Projects

Over the years, I’ve become involved in a number of ham radio related projects. Some are just for fun, some provide some service out to the rest of the community, and others are only slightly related to amateur radio itself.

Two of my main and current projects are the Auto Power Off circuit which I built to turn off the power in the trunk of my vehicle after a preset time had elasped since the car was turned off. This goes alongside and powers the APRS rig in the trunk. After I became involved initially in APRS, I ended up running my own relay and iGate, which links to my Tier2 APRS server at edmonton.aprs2.net. I also run an APRS Hog application for the general province of Alberta.
